THE TEAM
There are a lot of exciting things going on behind the scenes at Eventbrite. Our continued global growth has led to building out a best in class Accounting and Payroll team.  We’re looking to add core members in Argentina to our existing Payroll team, to join us as we continue to scale the company.
 
THE ROLE
We are seeking a Payroll Supervisor to join our Payroll team. The Payroll Supervisor will be responsible for supervising all payroll related activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all payroll items. In addition, this role includes, but is not limited to, overseeing: benefits and taxes; ad hoc reporting and Finance support. 

YOU WILL

    • Supervise payroll activities for the different payroll entities
    • Ensure the accurate and timely payroll processing
    • Audit review and approve payroll process
    • Ensure accurate withholding and submission of payroll taxes and other deductions
    • Meet all statutory reporting requirements, regulation and compliance for payroll taxes, withholding and employer contributions
    • Assist employees to resolve issues relating to payroll inquiries in a timely manner
    • Review payroll accounting journal-entries and perform monthly payroll-account reconciliations
    • Review income and tax impact of equity transactions within payroll
    • Documents payroll processes and procedures
    • Ensure compliance of payroll SOX controls 
    • Collaborate with third party payroll system upgrades and implementations
    • Special projects, ad-hoc reports as needed

THE SKILLSET

    • 5+ years payroll experience
    • Statutory and regulatory payroll knowledge 
    • English is a must 
    • Detail oriented with strong analytical, with strong written and oral communication skills
    • Good payroll auditing techniques via reports and experience
    • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
    • Proven ability to listen attentively, adhere to tight-deadlines, multi-task, maintain confidentiality and adhere to company standard of ethics
    • Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets
    • Ability to interface with all levels of the organization
    • Associate degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Management (or equivalent experience)
    • Payroll Accounting experience
    • SOX Compliance

    • Portuguese (AR)
    • Workday Payroll experience 
    • International Payroll experience desired 
    • CPP or similar payroll certification preferred
