Atlassian can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity, assuming candidates have eligible working rights and a sufficient timezone overlap with their team. As our offices re-open, Atlassians can choose to work remotely or return to an office, unless it’s necessary for the role to be performed in the office. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.
Do you live and breathe the user experience? Do you love solving tough problems, and flourish with variety? Atlassian is currently seeking Design graduates to join our growing Design teams in Sydney.
One important note: Unfortunately, this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

As a Graduate Designer at Atlassian, you'll have the opportunity to:

    • Work on a variety of design challenges where you will be involved in the end-to-end design process, including early-stage research and ideation, implementation and iteration.
    • Take ownership of crafting beautiful designs and frictionless user experiences for our products used by millions of users worldwide.
    • Gain valuable exposure to the design and product development process as you concept, design, and deliver powerful experiences.
    • Be a trusted design partner amongst forward-thinking peers of product managers and engineers who will look to you to guide them in creating harmonious user experiences and design.

On your first day, we'll expect you to:

    • Be currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelors, Masters, or PhD program and graduating by January 2023
    • Have a real passion for user-focused design
    • Demonstrate the ability to plan effectively while juggling multiple simultaneous projects
    • Have a passion for collaborating with cross-functional team members, like engineers and product managers, as well as other designers
