About the UX Research Function

What you’ll be doing

    • Develop and standardize research practices across the design and product teams
    • Design and conduct studies across key Revolut product areas independently and in conjunction with other researchers. You will utilise methods such as ethnographic & field research, diary studies, surveys, user/usability testing (remote and in-person), guerrilla research, and any other methods you find impactful to provide fast and accurate feedback
    • Ensure that all researchers use the correct methodologies without impacting the product timeline 
    • Plan and prioritize ways to scale research across the organization, as well as the tools and headcounts needed to do so
    • Challenge team thinking and senior stakeholder decisions utilizing research-based evidence and insights
    • Ensure user needs are met and at the heart of all design decisions
    • Identify areas of opportunity in our existing design, and prioritize them accordingly
    • Use the right methodology for the right questions while analyzing both user behavior and attitudes through qualitative and quantitative research
    • Communicate the business value of research to stakeholders.

Minimum requirements

    • Experience building and leading a UX research team
    • Ability to formulate a logical research hypothesis and create a research plan
    • Expertise in implementing and standardizing research methodologies in product and design teams
    • Experience with research participant recruitment and management practices
    • Ability to effectively communicate research results to stakeholders using data, storytelling, and case studies
    • Experience as a researcher and/or research coordinator for qualitative research studies, including usability/user testing, surveys, field research, or user interviews
    • Experience with Figma, Maze, Userlitics (or any other research tool to conduct remote testing) 
    • A B.S., M.S., or PhD degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Anthropology, Design, Psychology, Cognitive Science, or a related field

Nice to have

    • Experience working with a fast paced product cycle and meeting tight deadlines.
    • Experience with financial products. 
    • Working on a global team and conducting research for multiple countries.
