Headquartered in New York City, Dataiku was founded in Paris in 2013 and achieved unicorn status in 2019. Now, more than 900 employees work across the globe in our offices and remotely. Backed by a renowned set of investors and partners including CapitalG, Tiger Global, and ICONIQ Growth, we’ve set out to build the future of AI.
As an HR Admin and Payroll Coordinator, you will be part of a pretty new team, where the main task will be to manage the administrative part of Human Resources and the payroll for our 10 countries in EMEA.
Concretely, what does it mean?
That you will be an active player in the new joiners' arrivals, a daily supporter in their journey at Dataiku, and a major reference for their last days in the Company.
In HR, there is no “basic day” but here is a non-exhaustive list of subjects you may have to manage:

    • Make sure we have every information needed on time to be able to onboard our new joiners properly, be their first HR point of contact, and also work closely with the other teams in charge of onboarding (happiness managers, IT, learning and development).
    • Formalize contractual elements during all the Dataikers journey (labor contract, addendums, various certificates).
    • Keep an attentive eye on our follow-ups documents and constantly try to improve our processes.
    • Make sure our HRIS and payroll tools are always up-to-date thanks to regular data checks.

    • Take over our different tools and understand the different processes to pay people depending on the country they are working from.
    • Ensure good relationships with our different payroll providers and try to improve the quality of the processes and the tools' efficiency.
    • For the country for which we are fully in charge of the payroll (France, UK, Germany, Netherlands, and UAE), manage the process from A to Z (i.e. updating the matrices, adding information to the tools, preparing reviews and being part of the cross-validations) in full compliance with the local regulations and of course, respecting the deadlines.

    • As a trusted member of the HR team, be identified as a point of contact for employees and HR BPs and be prepared to answer a lot of their questions.
    • Closely work with a lot of various teams such as Talent Acquisition, Accounting, Finance, People-Systems, Total Rewards, IT to systematically improve our processes.

This job is made for you if:

    • You are curious to see how HR is working in other countries.
    • You are not afraid of monitoring dozens of follow-ups spreadsheets.
    • You are not too stressed about having different payroll cut-offs.
    • You are always happy to help people with understanding the local legislation in place (or their payslip).

What do we expect from you?:

    • Good knowledge of HR administration in at least, one of the countries we are in charge of.
    • Basic knowledge in payroll operations.
    • A strong desire for improvement by proposing new ideas to strengthen our processes.
    • Having worked in a startup or a growing fast company can be a plus.
    • Fluency in French and English

Last but not least, what you should expect to receive:

    • A competitive compensation package.
    • Some nice benefits such as health insurance, transportation participation in every country, and equity.
    • Nice swag, a well-filled stomach thanks to our generous breakfasts and snacks.
    • The possibility to travel to the different countries that are in your work scope.
    • But also, the opportunity to work with smart, passionate, and driven coworkers.
    • And the share of a strong culture based on key values: ownership, passion, autonomy, and friendliness
