We are looking for a Director of Operations that has a proven track record of developing, growing, and aligning high-performing operations teams in high-growth SaaS or similar software businesses. You are passionate about data, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have the ability to flex between big picture thinking while also sweating the details. This role will apply a strategic lens across the spectrum of talent, processes, and technology to drive improvement for 1Password. This person will lead teams including Marketing Technology Operations, and Strategy and Planning, and reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing Operations and Analytics.
This is a Remote opportunity within Canada and the United States.

What you can expect:

    • Work with our Executive, GTM, Product, Talent, and other key teams across the company to set and execute the roadmap for 1Password’s short- and long-term Marketing plans.
    • Partner with Analytics to manage expected ROI on Marketing campaigns and growth goals.
    • Work with the Business Operations and Marketing Analytics teams, extrapolating insights and turning those insights into actionable strategies that all Marketing teams can leverage to create great customer moments.
    • Guide the prioritization of key initiatives across Marketing as 1Password scales.
    • Maximizing the impact of all Marketing-related programs and experiments by maintaining organized playbooks, automated systems, and dashboards which track the progress against organizational goals
    • Marketing Technology Operations: Manage and scale our world-class global Marketing operations function. Partner with sales, Marketing, and finance organizations to help set and manage growth goals while providing a high level of visibility into underlying driver metrics.
    • Develop robust measurement and executive reporting on key contributions to revenue growth (pipeline, opportunities, etc.)
    • Strategy and Planning: Drive the Marketing planning process, inclusive of quarterly and annual strategic planning, ensuring Marketing’s goals are aligned with Product, Sales, and Engineering objectives.
    • Drive our Monthly Business Review process, ensuring the collection and dissemination of critical information into and across the organization.
    • Partner with our Finance team to manage budget, inform investment strategy, and find new and improved ways for tracking, prioritizing, and measuring budget.
    • Work closely with the Project Management Office to create deployable programs to support the goals of our leaders and their teams
    • Allocate budget across teams, and with our analytics team to recommend program spend modifications.
    • Track program performance against monthly growth goals.

What we’re looking for:

    • 10+ years leadership in operations, strategy, planning, and/or Marketing 
    • Demonstrated experience building and leading high-performance operations that help drive business outcomes. Experience executing high-impact strategies to improve effectiveness and drive key metrics.
    • Process-oriented, with the ability to simplify, automate, and improve team effectiveness through process improvements.
    • Demonstrated success operating in a cross-functional environment and delivering business outcomes.
    • Prior experience in both high-velocity SMBs and enterprise environments is a strong plus.
    • Analytical and data-driven, with a strong ability to present relevant business information and business cases.
    • Strong sense of ownership over annual and quarterly planning.
    • Strong sense of curiosity with a bias towards action.
    • Track record of building teams with world-class talent. A person who takes pride in building the future leaders of tomorrow.
    • Proficiency with tools such as Salesforce, Marketo, Looker, and Tableau a plus.
