Avant is looking for an intellectually curious and highly motivated Project Management Sr Analyst/Associate, who thrives in a fast-paced environment, to join a new team within the Operations organization. The Operations Strategic Initiatives team is focused on: 
Initiating and leading Operations maturation projects solving for the target state environment
Driving customer and agent experience improvement initiatives
We are looking for a high-energy individual who has a strong work ethic, the ability to turn a business-level objective into a project road map, and a track record of sponsor and stakeholder communication and management. The Project Manager is responsible for collaborating cross-functionally to strategically plan, organize, and execute projects from ideation to delivery and measurement.

What you do at Avant

    • Serve as a project owner, responsible for all aspects of a project’s development, planning, execution, and measurement
    • Understand the purpose, business priorities, and objectives in order to effectively support strategic decisions
    • Create, communicate, and maintain a project plan; set quantifiable goals and milestone targets
    • Lead project planning sessions, manage project progress, coordinate resources, and ensure projects meet specified deadlines.
    • Identify and address project risks and dependencies to ensure minimal impact on delivery
    • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the Operations organization
    • JIRA program management

Why you are a fit for Avant

    • 3+ years of project or program management experience
    • Experience with various project management tools, JIRA preferred
    • Experience managing large scale projects with various stakeholders
    • Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously
    • Knowledge of continuous process improvement processes, methods, and programs, such as Six Sigma, Lean, etc.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Big-picture thinking and vision
    • Attention to detail
    • Capacity to manage high-stress situations
    • Conflict resolution skills
    • Analytical, problem solving, and critical/creative thinking skills
    • Continuous learner
