The role 👩‍💻

What you'll be working on

Oyster is looking to hire a Finance Operations Lead who will play a vital role in delivering a fantastic sales order process for our customers. Oyster is seeking candidates who have proven experience of successfully carrying out a complex invoicing process in a high growth, fluid environment. The candidate will be very competent in organizing multiple sources of data, have an eye for detail, and will be passionate about process improvement. At Oyster we are passionate about customer satisfaction; the invoicing process is a critical part of achieving this and as a result, the role will involve a high degree of cross-functional collaboration. The role suits a highly motivated candidate looking to develop their skills acquired to date and gain exposure to best-in-class operational processes. The role will report directly to the Senior Manager - Finance Operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Key role in execution of accurate and timely billing of all payroll invoices
  • Experience of complex billing scenarios / data heavy billing
  • Perform aggregation of sales order data (outside and within the ERP system - Netsuite)
  • Key collaboration with P2P, payroll data, and transformation teams

Key requirements

  • Proven experience of execution in a highly complex billing environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to perform tasks under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Ability to find solutions in complex data environment
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Superb data skills (excel, Gsheets, data extraction)

Nice to haves:

  • Proficient in Google Suite of products (Gmail, Google Doc, Google Sheets)
  • Positive and proactive attitude, excited to roll up sleeves & build something
  • A good sense of humor and willingness to assist others no matter how small the task
  • Fully remote but preference within the GMT (0 UTC) or EST (-5 UTC) timezone
