Job description

We’re seeking a marketing leader to help build our next billion dollar business, and catapult us into the next era of how we enter and win new markets. The ideal candidate will be an expert in solutions marketing & be a passionate owner of building GTM and product-led growth strategies from the ground up. We’re looking for entrepreneurial zeal, big ideas, and a can-do, no bullshit attitude.

Success In This Role Looks Like

    • Be the GTM leader for building a new market for Atlassian, which could be one of the biggest we play in
    • Drive customer, market and competitive research to guide positioning, messaging. Package insights to inform and influence product roadmap & find product market fit
    • Partnership with internal cross-functional team - you’ll have a team of highly seasoned leaders across the R&D, marketing, and business operations organizations
    • Work with analysts and third parties to define and drive differentiation within the Work Management category
    • Conduct research to create buyer personas and journeys
    • Partner with the field team to create effective sales enablement materials
    • Plan and manage disruptive product launches that drive trial and grow our market share
    • Partner with cross-functional marketing teams to coordinate multiple streams of work, from landing pages to paid campaigns & PR moments

More About You

    • As the first PMM hire for a highly strategic department, you’ll need to bring an entrepreneurial, iterative mindset and be comfortable driving for clarity in ambiguous situations. When this is a success, you’ll have an opportunity to build your team from the ground up.
    • You have 8+ years of product marketing experience within SaaS or tech companies & experience building high and low touch GTM strategies
    • You are a strong critical thinker who feels comfortable pouring over analytics to make data-driven decisions
    • Highly honed storytelling, cross-functional partnership and leadership communication skills are required
