We are looking for a Head of Sales, APAC to grow our Tile retail business in the Asia-Pacific region. This person will be responsible for achieving APAC retail sales targets by finding new business opportunities and driving our distributor and retail relationships. In this role, the APAC Retail Sales Leader will manage a small, but growing, team and work closely with our marketing and operations teams in the US to ensure optimal in-store and online experiences for Tile products. This leader must be willing to be involved with the entire sales process while we scale the business and the team. This position reports to the Global Sales Leader and requires regular meetings with executive level staff in the US (via zoom) and travel (when safe to do so) within the APAC region.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

    • Direct sales efforts for APAC retail business, owning distribution relationships and developing key retailer relationships 
    • Meet/exceed sales targets while carefully tracking channel inventory levels
    • Lead annual business planning and sales strategy for APAC
    • Lead investigation and execution of new business opportunities for our hardware including partnerships, new retail channels and new countries
    • Provide regular sales forecasting, updating twice monthly, ensure accuracy
    • Ensure timely and accurate sell through and inventory data is provided to headquarters team
    • Conduct QBR meetings with distribution partners and key cross functional partners internally to review business, priorities and opportunities
    • Hire, develop and train a strong sales team. Ensure the team is executing on plans, discovering new opportunities and are developing in their careers
    • Partner with the channel marketing team on in-store and online merchandising needs as well as budget updates for channel and promotional spends
    • Provide competitive market and sales performance updates monthly during international monthly meetings with the headquarters team
    • Partner with the marketing team to ensure we are appropriately building out awareness and consideration for the region. Advocate for what is needed, help make connections to in-region agencies or resources

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
    • 10-15 years of APAC sales experience, as well as recent experience leading and driving a regional strategy
    • Management and leadership skills, can effectively lead a sales team
    • Experience in Consumer Electronics, Consumer Goods, or Sporting Goods industries
    • Experience managing retail and distribution partner relationships
    • Strong relationships with retailers and distributors
    • Excellent problem solving skills, analytical approach
    • Proven ability to operate well in a matrixed organization and with a 
    • Excellent communication skills - can communicate effectively with all levels of management
    • Fluent in English required
