The Team
The Eventbrite Marketing team is a centralized, multi-disciplinary group focused on acquiring, retaining, and building a world-class brand that resonates with both event creators and event goers. We are data driven and biased towards action, and put the customer at the center of everything we do. We are specialists within our individual areas of expertise and work together to connect with and support our customers. 
The Role
The Brand Design Lead plays an essential role in creating authentically branded moments for our creators. We are seeking an experienced, detail oriented designer who has a passion for the finer points of design and branding as well as the strategic chops to deliver smart, elevated experiences that drive real business impact. You will work directly with partners from all over the company delivering high-quality work that drives results and pushes our brand forward. You will bring brand consistency across multiple touchpoints ranging from wide reaching campaigns, branded videos, event experiences, and internal projects. A successful candidate will have a portfolio of work featuring known brands and be prepared to talk through their projects in detail. 
 

YOU WILL

    • Maintain and iterate on our brand design system, including updating guidelines and developing new elements with support from the team.
    • Take a leadership role in design reviews, giving clear and actionable feedback to the team in order to elevate our brand experience. 
    • Partner closely with the Product team to bridge visual consistency gaps between the product experience and brand touchpoints. 
    • Provide design direction for Eventbrite’s community event series as well as our annual, global summit. 
    • Partner with the internal Brand team and key stakeholders in developing a new brand symbol. 
    • Own our custom event photography program, identifying new photography talent, ensuring quality assets, and keeping photo libraries up-to-date.  

THE SKILL SET

    • At least 8 years of experience in Graphic Design 
    • Expert in visual brand identity and systems
    • Expert knowledge of typography, color and layout
    • Expert in Adobe suite
    • Able to confidently and clearly present work 
    • Detail focused, and works well in a team environment
    • Strong strategic skills, with a focus on business impact
