Job Description

Shopify Retail is on a mission to bring communities together through in-person commerce. With Shopify POS at the heart of the retail product offering, Shopify is looking to further disrupt retail with an omnichannel approach to technology solutions for retailers around the world.

We’re looking for an Integrated Marketing Manager, with a global growth mindset to scale Shopify across EMEA, by creating a unified and seamless experience for our merchants to interact with our brand. You will be responsible for creating and executing a local marketing strategy with the overall objective of helping merchants to bring their in-store and online sales together with Shopify. This may include brand activations, content creation, paid advertising and online and offline events.  


  • Coordinate the entire marketing process for Shopify POS in EMEA, from driving awareness to customer acquisition, in close collaboration with the global demand generation and Product Marketing teams. 

  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing programs and campaigns with the purpose of improving resource allocation, efficiency and revenue generation.

  • Oversee the development and execution of Go-To-Market strategies, including an integrated marketing strategy and marketing mix. 

  • Develop a deep understanding of our markets, merchants we’re targeting, and the approaches to marketing, comms and engagement that are most likely to connect with them.

  • Drive ‘local to global’ exchanges of ideas, context, and strategy to help continue to strengthen our new working model, highlighting what’s working, what’s not, and what else is required to augment the growth strategy.

  • Optimise each marketing touchpoint using data and insights, including top-of-funnel channels like social media and blogging, middle-of-funnel channels like email nurturing, and bottom-of-funnel activities with sales teammates.

  • Work with our awesome merchants to create case studies and customer success stories.


  • Demonstrable experience driving campaigns that are measured, strategic and creative. 

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills — you’re able to stay focused on the big picture while paying attention to detail

  • Highly analytical, deep thinker and problem solver.

  • Deep experience working in global organisations in a highly matrixed environment. 

  • The ability to thrive in chaos, resolve ambiguity, and think quickly on your feet.

  • Ability to work with external and internal stakeholders across multiple time zones.

  • Strong analytical, planning, and organisational skills.
