The Marketing team is hiring for an innovative Brand Partnerships Director. This person will own Hopin’s brand partnerships agenda and collaborate closely with key partners in Comms, Social Media, Brand Strategy and more to extend and amplify Hopin’s brand impact through third-party relationships. This role is equally strategic and creative with the massive potential to very tangibly shape the world’s perception of Hopin. This role will be focused on driving brand awareness and building equity in the Hopin brand as we set off to create a truly iconic, beloved brand. You will be part of a fast-growing, fast-moving team at Hopin that is defining a new category.  

You will be part of a fast-growing, fast-moving team at Hopin that is defining a new category/space. Our Brand Partnership efforts will be a critical component of shaping the future of the brand and earning a disproportionate share of conversation in the category and in culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the overarching Brand Partnerships agenda from strategy to operating model to creative execution and ongoing relationship management.
  • Define the key audience-relevant verticals within which partnerships will drive meaningful awareness and brand equity.
  • Develop partner evaluation criteria and provide strategic direction and decision making around which partners are best aligned with brand and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Comms, Social Media, Brand Strategy and others to align efforts and earn a disproportionate share of conversation around marketing initiatives. 
  • Lead partnership negotiations in close collaboration with Sourcing and other key financial stakeholders.
  • Act as the strategic and creative conduit between Hopin Brand team and partner teams for co-marketing initiatives or any other brand partnership activations.
  • Understand and internalize the Hopin purpose, brand narrative, identity, and personality in order to guide creative ideation and execution consistent with Hopin brand strategy and guidelines.
  • Establish the foundations of the Brand Partnerships discipline at Hopin with responsibility for hiring, leading and managing an ongoing team day to day.
  • Act as a key member of the brand leadership team and contribute to building a truly iconic and beloved brand.

ABOUT YOU

  • 6-8 years of brand partnerships experience within hyper relevant SaaS, consumer tech, or B2B brands
  • Both right and left brained – ability to easily transition from analytical to creative thinking
  • Intellectually curious – eager to grapple with an undefined space and helping establish Hopin as a thought leader in the event tech space
  • Ability to negotiate and drive ideal outcomes for the organization while still nurturing valuable relationships
  • Impact Driven – desire to achieve greatness & have a huge impact on the business
  • Structure oriented – finds ways to expand effectiveness through better process
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving, always variable environment
  • Self-starter – motivated to find solutions, propose ideas, and always optimize
