Eventbrite is seeking a Staff Reporting Software Engineer to join us in our mission to bring the world together through live experiences. As a member of the reporting team you’ll be tasked with giving our event creators the information they need to run their businesses. Information and insights are the core of Eventbrite’s future.
The members of our team tackle big problems through small group collaboration. Our technology spans across web, mobile, APIs, big data and machine learning, search, as well as physical point of sale and ticket scanning systems. We are seeking an experienced and driven reporting data engineer to join our team and help influence the future of our customer facing reporting products backend systems. You will impact the broad business by providing architectural guidance and applying your experience both hands on and by enabling others.

THE TECH STACK
Eventbrite uses Python, Kafka, Kinesis, Redshift, ElasticSearch, MySQL, AWS Lambdas and other managed services in our reporting stack . Outside of our reporting stack it's notable that we’re currently one of the world’s largest Django-powered sites by request volume. Python, Django, and MySQL are the primary off-the-shelf technologies of our main site backend all based in AWS.
