We are looking for a devops engineer to join our DevOps team. You will use multiple technologies to transform raw data into useful data systems. You'll help grow and architect our data warehouse, as well as develop strategies to increase the knowledge we can extract. Overall, you'll strive for efficiency by aligning data systems with business goals. You should have a strong interest in data infrastructure, and strategies to combine data from different sources. A background with SQL and NoSQL database architectures is a big plus.

What you'll do:

    • Build systems for telemetry and logging collection
    • Assist with systems pipeline design
    • Develop monitoring systems for all environments and develop alerting based on this data
    • Assist developers with designing changes to build systems
    • Develop tools to streamline processes and build environments
    • Explore ways to enhance monitoring and telemetry aggregation
    • Utilize SRE standards to improve code delivery and application performance Identify opportunities for system improvements
    • Develop analytical tools and programs
    • Collaborate with software engineers, hardware engineers, and product management

What you'll bring:

    • 3-5 years of previous experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar role
    • Technical expertise with release engineering, monitoring, telemetry, logging, etc.
    • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Go and Python)
    • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes(Big Plus), Terraform, and AWS
    • Degree in Computer Science, Math, IT, or similar work experience
    • Redshift, Postgresql, Mongodb experience a plus
