Trendyol is aiming to develop a world-class e-commerce platform and we are undertaking a multi-year effort to achieve this goal. We are seeking entrepreneurial candidates to join a team, dedicated to defining the customer experience for our international customers across domains in supply chain.
You get to work in a high impact role, paving the way International expansion for Trendyol will shape up in future. As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will manage and oversee the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities
within the warehouse, ensuring quality standards are met at every turn. You are  expected to be exceptionally detail oriented and able to track multiple facets of the warehouse at any given time. You must achieve inventory accuracy, coordinate orders, and track shipping times, ultimately overseeing the fulfillment of large product orders every year.

YOUR PROFILE

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain/Industrial Engineering/Business Management/Mathematics or other quantitative discipline
    • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management
    • Knowledge of principles and methods for moving goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits
    • Experience in warehouse volume & labor planning, performance metrics, process improvement and lean techniques
    • Strong analytical capability; track record of digging into data and finding solutions for a variety of operational problems
    • Excellent collaboration skills that enable you to earn trust at all levels
    • Extreme attention to detail and willingness to roll up your sleeves
    • Ability to effectively work with remote teams across continents and deliver results
    • Highly polished communication skills - speaking, writing, presenting and negotiating
    • Working in a start-up or early stage environment where you will be defining best practice for your function
    • Experience implementing Lean Six Sigma and Project Management concepts and frameworks
    • Demonstrated creativity and judgment to develop solutions
    • Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast paced environment
    • Demonstrate the ability to succeed: identifying problems and finding solutions, building/improving processes
    • Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management and meeting deadlines

YOUR CHALLENGE

    • Ensure warehouse network operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal by establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals
    • Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage, inventory management, gate processes, and shipping requirements
    • Provide effective management of warehousing activities to deliver high quality services for business units within the region, including stock checks, unloading, receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch, at policy and strategy levels
    • Manage warehouse teams to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
    • Manage a Warehousing Operational Dashboard, including a set of metrics and key performance indicators that will help the process of standardizing operations and allowing benchmark comparisons
    • Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met
    • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
