Technology Department is one of the most important teams at Trendyol which is future-oriented, fast-growing, and technology enthusiast company. Software Development Team builds scalable, high performing platforms for our customer satisfaction by using up-to-date and efficient technologies. In the end, we are all working towards the same goal: to create an excellent experience for our customers at Trendyol.
The SFX team builds web services & micro frontend solutions to empower hundreds of developers and business organizations to work smoothly in a rapidly changing and growing environment. The SFX team is the backbone of the API Gateway & Frontend solution to create cross-functional teams across multiple domains. Our goal is to create UI, endpoints, and services with the no-code (or minimal) approach while maintaining these services' scalability, reliability, and resiliency.

YOUR PROFILE

    • At least 5+ years of experience in strategy, product development, operations, and program management
    • A background in at least one technical product management, product development, or relevant experience
    • Have excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
    • Have experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
    • Have an ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head off obstacles
    • Effective English communication skills
    • Approach problems as an engineer thinking analytically, collecting data, and measuring the effects of feasible solutions
    • 5+ years of background in Kanban or Scrum and proven experience managing stakeholder relationships across multiple cross-functional teams.
    • Development background, especially on microservices, developer products, or SRE tools is preferred

YOUR CHALLENGE

    • As a technical product manager at Trendyol, you will work with multiple SFX teams. 
    • Supporting maintaining repositories, CI/CD, scaling, nano-services, as well as driving the performance of the overall architecture with the SFX Service Team. 
    • Maintaining micro-frontend solutions, UI kit, panel with the SFX Rendering Team.
    • Maintaining developer tools like CLI, panel, documentation, and onboarding guidelines with the SFX Experience Team.
    • Partnering with engineering and other cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and collaborate with project leads to create a vision, strategy, and roadmap.
    • Communicating proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
    • Having leadership and execution skills that lead to the creation of technical products and strategic initiatives.
    • Working with engineering teams to understand their needs and help create solutions based on them. Break down the possible solution into smaller chunks, adjust the priorities, and gather those business requirements. 
    • Holding regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any project-related questions or challenges.
    • Tracking product usage metrics and analytics data, conducting surveys and analyzing them, create possible optimization points afterward.
