Atlassian is seeking an Accountant for Revenue Operations in Manila to support our worldwide Revenue Accounting team. You will play a critical role on Atlassian's operational revenue team by preparing and providing support on key areas of month-end close and financial reporting. What you will be doing:

    • Review contracts and order forms based on predetermined checklist prior to approving the Sales Order records in NetSuite. Actively call out and resolved any errors identified during the review.
    • Assist in the processing and calculation of non-standard customer contracts in the revenue system (RevPro).
    • Works closely with Deals Desk team to ensure that all Sales Orders where entered in the system are complete and accurate.
    • Assist in the analysis of historical sales activities for the purposes of proper revenue allocation in multiple-element arrangements
    • Assist in global revenue and deferred revenue reports to support internal and external reporting requirements and assist in the analysis of revenue variance
    • Prepare and support audit request for the Company’s external and internal auditors
    • Assist in other miscellaneous projects as needed to support the revenue operations team which includes but not limited to UAT and cross-functional projects
    • Assists in monthly/quarterly worldwide revenue accounting close activities
    • Partner and collaborate with other teams regarding revenue-related inquiries and issues

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

    • 2-3+ years of progressive experience in the Accounting industry, with a multinational and/or BPO/Shared Services Company (preferably in a public company environment subject to SOX)
    • Strong attention to detail
    • A degree in Finance or Accounting
    • Experience in revenue accounting operations and/or Sales Order/Contract Review.
    • Strong excel skills, including Pivot Tables & V-Lookups
    • Confidence in your ability to communicate (in English) both orally and written
    • Demonstrated ability to identify and drive process improvements
    • You are highly proactive, organized and have a very strong work ethic
    • Appreciate the need to see the bigger picture but are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and dig into the detail
    • Building strong relationships comes naturally to you and you enjoy interacting with stakeholders across the organisation through a variety of mediums

Highly valued (but not required!):

    • Revenue accounting experience
    • Experience with Netsuite and/or RevPro
    • You have a CPA.
